Hi, Future YOU
Welcome to the lifelong learning
Future School Concept, where AR
interfaces are directly connected
to a dynamic architecture.
In this concept an artificial intelligence
works together with teachers.
On the ine side a student can decide what
he/she wants to learn, on the
other side a teacher and an
artificial intelligence help him/her
to reflect and to find their specifications.
Move around to experience!
Augmented Reality
When you enter the school, put
on your AR glasses to intersect with
all the hidden features in
this building.
2D Interface
2D Interface info
You can pull out your 2D
weekplan to organize your daily
and weekly options.
3D Interface
The 3D tree shows your learning
path. Every week you can choose
on which topics you want to
focus.
3D Interface
Movement & Interaction
The dynamic shape of the
building helps you to stay
interactive and spontaneously
physical movements are connected
to the virtual ones.
An overlaying AR Interface replaces
your school bag. You can
access this 2D or 3D Interface
at the prepared spaces within
the building. Architecture builds
the new virtual Desktop.
The Future School
Hi, Future School
Check the concept of the building
and the learning space typologies!
Background
An analysis of the existing learning spaces
in schools help to find new, more dynamic
spaces with a focus on individualized
learning.
Concept
The Future School concept is based
on new diverse learning space typologies.
Every student can decide individually
how to learn an in which surrounding.
Building
In relation to the location and
the environment, the spaces can
be organized differently.

Typologies
Building site
"Hands-On" and "White-Cave"
The second part of the building
is non-virtual. Your learning
tools, as for example your hands,
stay physical.
Both areas overlay eachother
and fire interaction on both levels.
An example that could develop
is vertical gardening. It is dependent
on botanical and scientific knowledge
as well as technical programming.
MEDIA workshop
Recentls there is going on a
workshop which connects 3 of the
6 main education topics; MEDIA,
SCIENCE and HANDS-ON.

The 5 education topics are:

LANGUAGE
CULTURE & SOCIETY
SCIENCE
MOVEMENT
MEDIA
HANDS-ON
Mutli-Use Glas Space
This multi-use space is half public.
Every student that passes by can check
the workshops or events that are
recently happening.

Cockpit Mantis Iris
- Concept
The Cockpit Mantis Iris is a movable
object in which you can work
individually and concentrated.
Moreover it can connect with others
physically and virtually. Group works
with virtuals next to physicals
are possible.

Ramps
As the building has different
learning offers, it is organized
with a lot of ramps to provoke
movement and interaction.
Swipe between your screens!
The guy is swiping the layout
from the table to the wall.
Group area
This area is an open space for
group works. It offers different learning
situations for differetn physical states
- as low or high sitting and standing.
Screen Table Interface
You can log-in on the table screen.
It replaces your school bag.
Wall Interface
This space has desks that are oriented
to the sides. The wall can be used
as a screen. You can place information
3D at the wall.
Virtual listeners
In the back of the room the
teacher is able to interact with
virtual listeners.
Presentation
Here you can join presentations
of a physical or virtual teacher.
Integrated Screen for the teacher
The teacher has his/her screen within the
structure of the room to control
the presantation interface.
